Background

(November 24, 2025) Macalister reports that an earlier author named Langdon (1902, in Reliquary and Illustrated Archaeologist 8 : 50) described this stone as being "found leaning against the outside of the churchyard wall, near its southeast corner with its narrow end resting in the roadway and its wider end against the wall." In November 1896 it was erected where it now stands, inside the churchyard, on the right-hand side of the entrance. A small Christian cross (formerly built into the chancel wall) was mounted incongruously on top of it and trimmed on the sides to fit the dimensions of the runestone.

The inscribed stone is a four-sided shaft of granite, now standing 6' 7" above ground. According to Langdon it was 10' 7" in total length with a maximum cross-section of 1' 5" x 1' 4" tapering to 1' 11" x 0' 7" at the top.

  1. Ku Nu EQu UMu. Ya Ḫu LeYu

  2. Qu E Nu. AYa Wa Su

In English
  1. Involvement can reveal compensation for the storm-powers. Is not Hu being fated?

  2. The life-threads can disable the fate-revelations. Ayu can restrict Su.

Comment: Involvement is the mixing of the life powers with the motion/emotion powers. As evidence for this the text is stating that the sun and storm god (the life power Hu) is being affected by fate which is a motion power originating in the astrological night sky. Hu is the sun and storm god so he is the "storm-power" when in his storm form. Hu represents the life network through which the life powers (fertility fluids) flow down to earth to be manifested as life. The connections of the threads/channels of this network are edited by the crescent moon goddess Ayu. This text is stating that this editing power can overcome fate and thus curse the dark new moon god Su who is the motion power who can also affect fate.

Worthyvale Ogham/Rune Stone 470 - Minster Parish, Cornwall
Background

(November 24, 2025) Macalister reports that this stone was discovered by Borlas (1789) being used as a footbridge over a stream. It bore the name " Slaughter Bridge." He tells us further that "the present Lady Dowager Falmouth, shaping a rough kind of hill about 100 yards off into spiral walks, removed this stone from the place where it served as a bridge, and building a low piece of Masonry for it's support, plac'd it at the foot of her improvements, where it still lyes in one of the natural grotts of the hill."

These "improvements have gone the way of all their kind. A masonry bridge now has the name of "Slaughter Bridge" and the stone now lies about half a mile up-stream from this structure on the right bank of the stream. A rough flight of rock-cut steps leads down to the stone. Macalister found it impossible-to discover a standpoint from which the whole inscribed surface could be photographed.

Locally the stone now bears the name " King Arthur's Stone" because some think they see the name "Arthur" in the text.

It is a block of grit being 9′ 8″ × 2′ 3″ x 1' 10".

  1. [ogham] Is not Su making scarce the instigators (eagle-vultures/griffons)

  2. Lack of monitoring by the Moon-eye (Su) is causing pain. Don't involve the fate-owl's omens.

  3. Hu can be fated and obligated (by rituals). Hope is not control.

Comment: Here a motion powers, the dark new moon god Su, is making scarce a life power mechanism ,the griffons, which edit the life-network's connections which direct the life powers to earth. This life-network is represented by the sun and storm god Hu (a life power) who can be controlled by magical rituals.
